Get back to where you once belonged...

I’m so ready for these elections to be over. The hyperbole and rancor were like toxins in the air.

·      Being passionate is one thing.

·      Being so passionate you don’t listen is another.

·      The state of US elections should become more civil.

·      And we all should remember to have respectful discourse.

·      Because it’s just one election, and another will be here very soon.

Whoever got elected will have to now face their constituents, and we should hold them to their promises. Let them work, see how they do, watch the results, and base your next vote on the outcomes.  Now go back to your regular lives, get outdoors, take a walk, watch the sun set, and treat others the way you want to be treated. Whatever path you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt. Life is short and all the lies and hate should stop. At the end of the day, we’re all just trying to get by. Remember that today.
