Setting
higher goals is another good resolution to consider for this coming year. We
all aspire to doing and being more – that’s an underlying theme of these daily
messages. Throughout my active career I tried to learn something new each year and
incorporate it into the HR work I did: that’s how I came to create online
applications and a paperless HR environment at Wynn. These kinds of efforts
require us to learn more, work effectively with others, think outside the box
and take calculated risks. No matter how many goals you’ve achieved, you must
always set your sights higher: that’s part of taking ownership for re-setting
your sights and goals, and making the job you have the one you love. The
beginning of a new year is the perfect time to make these kinds of commitments:
dream big and begin to do great work today.
