Don't over-complicate things...

Excellence at anything you do can be daunting. But not if you keep it simple.

·      Nothing great comes easy.

·      But each little step can be.

Working 25 years ago on the Bellagio opening was a lesson in keeping things simple. Every aspect of that project was exquisitely designed – complex and beautiful. Onboarding was steeped in culture and detail. Employee training was broken down into manageable building blocks, each supremely simple. That’s the key to learning that is part detail and part inspiration. Simple enough for everyone to understand and mold into personal style. In character, in manner, in all things, the excellence there was rooted in simplicity. Simply and easily learned so people could then focus on smiles and service. Keep things simple so you and your employees can focus on what’s important today.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 – 1882): American poet (“Paul Revere’s Ride) and educator (Harvard College). He was one of the fireside poets from New England.
