Whether alone, or with others, give it your best shot.
The older we get it seems the faster time flies. Summer, like time in general, seems to take forever when it’s something we don’t like to do, but when it’s something enjoyable it seems to go by quickly. The chores we dread drag on while the things we love go by in what feels like a New York minute. While summer officially ends in three weeks, today feels like it’s over. Maybe now’s the time to find new hobbies and routines rather than keeping up with our old habits. Maybe now’s the time (like with New Year’s resolutions) to start eating better, exercising more, being a little kinder, and not being so cynical. Maybe now is a good time to check on old friends and make some new ones. Maybe it’s a good time do things with others. Do something different. Have some fun. Or not worrying so much about the passing of time. Maybe we should roll with the punches, play a few more hunches, and make the best of whatever comes our way. Just because time is marching on doesn’t mean we have to feel old. Make the most of every minute today.
