· This past week has been a blur of activity and emotions.
o Full of reflection and healing.
o And painted with love and support.
The instant my recent accident happened I immediately went into shock - everything slowed down and became very hazy. While that automatic reaction helped protect me for the next 24 hours, I knew that life and the world around me was more vibrant and colorful. The body's quick reaction to trauma is very protective and it certainly helped me get through those initial hours. But all around me the love and support created a tapestry that then helped bolster my spirits and begin my healing. Life is an amazing adventure, but it was never intended to be lived in gray-scale. I am now on the road to recovery, and I know I can't get there alone. I feel a little awkward about how much help I need but I must put that aside because I know that that support is coming from unconditional love. When someone you know is hurting give them the support they require - your reaction should be just as automatic and extensive as the shock they may be experiencing. Help them out of the haze by coloring in between the lines of their needs. Be a loving supporter of someone's journey today.
