Motivate for success...

The NCAA men’s and women’s basketball championships are complete. Like all championships, it’s a long campaign.

Teams play countless games.

They win some and lose some.

But they all keep playing ‘til the end.

I can relate to these campaigns, having to keep people motivated through the good times and bad. The early mornings and long days, noses to the grindstones while others are playing, sacrificing for the dream. It happens every season in every sport. It happened every time we opened a new hotel. And it happens every day as countless companies around the globe strive for excellence. Coaches of players and employees motivate them to push through the hardships and pain on the way to their respective goal lines. Great leaders know the value of being effective coaches – that’s what it takes to get the most out of every employee or player in every situation. Keeping them focused. Congratulating their successes. Helping turn their challenges into opportunities to learn and grow. Grinding it out. Finding a way. Work is supposed to be hard because that’s what sharpens your senses and skills. Coaches know that – they work tirelessly to get people in shape to do what it takes to succeed. Coach your team to bring the most out of them today.
