I recently spent time with the top team at a regional casino, helping them set priorities and goals. Groups like this in any organization tend to develop habits and silos that can limit the amount and quality of group interactions: the exercises we guided them through were designed to reinforce the old saw that “two heads are better than one”; over the course of the multi-day workshop, they re-opened lines of communication, became more curious and collaborative, and encouraged each other to ‘tell me more’.
