My career revolved around the complex work of finding, hiring, training, and motivating tens of
thousands of employees — organizing them into teams led by managers who were often doing it for the first time. We knew it would be a struggle, which made systems, communication, training, and coaching essential to launching new casino resorts. In those moments, a steady hand at the helm made all the
