Start things off right....

I celebrated the holiday yesterday with friends: their son had just accepted a new job with a major company and was telling us how easy they were making the transition. I know how difficult it is to change jobs: going from the places and people you know to the unknown creates a lot of worry. Good companies know this and seek to take the worry out of a job change by maintaining good communications, making quick decisions and not wasting people’s time, sending everything you need to fill out to you online and giving you the chance to complete all those forms at home and on your own time, and even providing contact names and information to use if needed. The entire candidate experience is becoming more and more important: companies are mindful that candidates talk and leave feedback on social media.  Don’t leave your recruiting reputation to chance: create loyalty from the first contact to the last.  That’s the way to make people want to work for you and start to become loyal today.
